My baby girl is growing up! She turned 9 months on December 21st! We are loving every minute with our sweet girl. She has grown so much, and is into everything. We have already had to child proof a few cupboards. She is very talkative! She loves to talk all day long. She loves to smile and she loves to play with stuffed animals, and her toys!

Christmas and New Year's 2011

This year for christmas we got to go to Sedona with my family. We left on thursday and

met up with my family at the resort. We were able to go to walmart a few times, and to a movie. On christmas the entire family had shown up and we were all together.

We left Sedona on Christmas so that we would be able to spend christmas with Alan's family too. Since this was Allie's first christmas we thought it would be nice to be with both families.

We met at Alan's dads house and had dinner and then opened present! What a fun Christmas for us!

Ending the year 2011 with the Fleming Family. We all got together at Ronnelle's house to eat, play games, and let the kids run around! Everyone actually stayed up until Midnight (except Allie).

This year for Thanksgiving we were able to go to Alans dad's house. Almost all the Fleming's were there except the ones that live in Nevada. We were happy to see everyone. Allie at a great thanksgiving meal...sweet potatoes, green beans, carrots (Baby food) and some bread. She loved it!

For Halloween Allie was a pink kitty! She was so darn cute! Allie and I were able to go see my parents and siblings and my sister took pictures in her costum.

On October 21st our little one turned 7 months. When people say that time will go by so fast they are right. She is getting so big.

I can't believe it... she is getting soooo big. She is doing some many different things right now. Her newest trick is the "fishy" face. I looked over at her and she was making this face.....

We went to Ikea a few weekends ago and we bought her a tunnel. She seems interested in it, but doesn't really know what it is. We put her in it and she crawled through.

Another new trick is to stand up in her bed. I put her down for nap one day and i heard her moving around I walked in to this cute little face....

Also, she is crawling everywhere. We set her down in the room and she is off. She loves to explore and get into everything. She is getting really fast too...She loves to crawl to the coffee table and pull herself up.

I can't believe it.... my baby girl is 6 months old! She is getting so big, and is so interested in everything. She loves to put everything in her mouth, she loves to hear her own voice, and she loves to crawl, and loves baths.

Labor Day

For labor day weekend we were able to go camping. We left on thursday and got home on monday morning. This was the first time that we have been camping since having Allie. She did really well..She enjoyed sitting in her jumper, and being held or laying in the trailer on the bed. The cousins had so much fun with her. Everyone wanted to hold her!

Cards Game

This year for Alan's birthday we went to the Cardinal's game. It was a pre-season game, but we were only 9 rows up, so we were super close. My mom watched Allie while we went to the game.

They played the Chargers. We were up the entire game, and ended up losing with 8 seconds left :(

Rice Cereal, 5 Months old, Melting Pot

When my mom was in town she wanted to feed Allie some food, so finally I gave in and let her feed her rice cereal. At first she didn't know what to think but she did very well. Now she loves to eat!

Grammie thought it was a good idea to feed Allie Rice Cereal. She actually really liked it!

On August 21 Allie turned 5 months old!

In August Thomas, Mandy, Grant, and my mom came to visit and we were able to take them to the Melting Pot. It was a fun night!

Fourth OF July and 4 Months Old

This year for the fourth of July we went to Alan's Dad's House to swim and have a BBQ, we actually did that on saturday. We had a lot of fun. We also had a little parade in the backyard. On Monday, July 4th we went to a park and sat in the back of the truck and watched the fireworks. Allie just sat there and watched them.

I can't believe it... Allie is 3 months old. She is getting so big. I have really enjoyed this age. I wasn't a big fan of the newborn age, but I love 3 months. She smiles, and talks a lot.

On June 22nd Allie Rolled Over..I layed her down and all of the sudden she started to roll over.. I then grabbed my camera and took pictures of her rolling. Now I will set her on the floor and walk away and when I turn back to look at her she has already rolled over. She is doing so good...

5 Year Anniversary and Father's Day

On June 17th Alan and I were able to celebrate our 5 year anniversary. We were able to go up to Sedona for the weekend to celebrate.

We took Allie with us and we went to a fish hatchery, shopping, fishing, and got to go in a jacuzzi.

About two weeks ago we took Allie swimming for the first time. She enjoys being in the water but is affraid that the water is going to splash her in the face. She was so cute in her little swim suit.

I guess swimming is just to much work :) As soon as we got out she feel asleep!

Tummy TIme/ Temple Trip/ Memorial Day

Allie and I were able to take a trip to the temple. The young women in my ward were doing baptisms and we have a girl who isn't a member who wanted to go so Allie and I took her to the visitors center. This was Allie's first time being at the temple.

This year for Memorial Weekend we were able to go to a Cabin with Alan's family. His dad rented a cabin and had all his children go up there for the weekend. While we were at the cabin our youth in our ward had their youth retreat only 5 mins away. Alan and I are both in the youth program so we were able to go back and forth between our family cabin and the youth retreat. Thanks to our family for watching Allie so we could go enjoy the youth. We had a lot of fun and enjoyed one anothers company.

I can't believe it... Allie is 2 months old. We went to the doctor on friday for her two month check up and shots and she is now 11lbs and 24 1/2 inches long. For her length she is in the 95%. She sure is a long little girl.

I can't believe how fast time has gone! Allie is already a month old. She is just so adorable.

As an update she is growing so fast. She is a very happy girl. She sleeps well, and eats well.

When she cries we know she is either hungry, needs a diaper change, or just wants to be held.

Utah Trip and Grant's Blessing

This last weekend we were able to go to Utah for my nephew's blessing. My brother and his wife had their baby on Feb. 9th. We left on friday night and stayed until tuesday morning. Allie did a great job in the car!

We stayed in a hotel the 1st two nights and then at my sisters the second two nights. I told Allie that she can never say we didn't take her somewhere because she has already gone to Utah and was only 3 weeks old :)

On March 21, 2011 at 2:00AM I went into the hospital to be induced. My doctor came and broke my water at 8:45 AM . We finally had our little Allie at 11:38PM. She is so perfect!

When she was getting all cleaned up she kept making this sad face. She wasn't very happy with anyone at that point :)

This weekend my family threw me a baby shower. It was really nice to feel the support by many friends and family. Thank you to everyone that shared this special day with me!

During Christmas time my family was in town and so I thought it was a perfect oppurtunity to get the Nursery ready. My mom and I went to home depot to get everything we would need to paint, and a light fixture for the fan. My mom and dad and sister then painted the room for me. I left for a meeting and came home and everything was done. I had some great elves at my house :) One wall is brown, two walls are pink and then one is striped pink and brown. It turned out really cute :)

It was then time to get the crib, changing table, and dresser for the room. I had a coupon to Burlington so we headed over there and found a really nice set for a really good price, so we had to get it. Christmas Morning Alan and I went to his dad's house and while we were gone my dad put the stuff together. I couldn't believe it when I got home everything was put together. This was a great Christmas present.

My mom then helped me make a blanket for the crib, and a valence for the window.

This year for Christmas we were able to spend time with both my family and Alan's family. My parents came down the Monday before Christmas and then left on Sunday (the day after). It was nice having them here! They were able to help me get a few things done around my house... They painted the nursey for me, and put my crib, dresser and changing table together. I had some great Elves at my house :)

Christmas Morning we woke up and got ready and went to Alan's dads house to open presents with them. We had a nice breakfast and then opened presents. It is a lot of fun to go over there because we get to watch the kids open their presents from eachother and from grandma and grandpa. We also have a gift exchange between the adults. Alan's dad and Cindy gave us a Canon Rebel Camera, money to buy a case, a movie, and suckers! We are very excited to use our new camera!

Then when we got back to our house we opened presents with my mom and dad,Lindsey, and Kelly and her family. It was fun to be able to watch my niece and nephew open their presents. They were pretty spoiled this year from their aunts and uncles, grandma and grandpa. Alan and I decided we were not going to buy eachother something very big because we need to start saving, well I guess I was wrong, beacuse Alan Spoiled me :)

Thanksgiving

All the grandkids! My sister and Law and I are both expecting. One in Feb. and one in March

For thanksgiving this year we spent it in Vegas. It was fun, but freezing! We stayed at a resort with my mom and dad, brother and his wife, and my sister and her husband and daughter. This was a two bedroom resort, so Alan and I slept in the dinning room on an air matress. It wasn't too bad, only when the matress would let air out.

We really had a fun time. We got there on wednesday night and stayed until saturday morning. On wednesday we sat around and talked and ate dinner and then eventually went to bed. Thursday morning we began to cook the turkey and then went to K-Mart. When we got home the turkey was almost done, and so we cooked everything else and got ready to eat. We had an amazing Thanksgiving meal!

After eating we all laid around slept and then got ready for BLACK FRIDAY shopping. Around 8pm we went to the vegas strip and went to the M&M factory. It was so cold outside! At 9pm we left to go to ToysRus. IT was crazy! So we ended up got to Walmart, at 11:45pm the craziness began :) After we were done at Walmart we met my brother at target where him and his wife were waiting in line. They were about the 15th in line. We then got into target got what we needed, and then went to over to mall and Alan and I decided we were ready to go back and sleep. We stopped by home depot and then went to bed. Friday afternoon we went to the mall and then went to Marie Calendars for Kristy's brithday. Friday night Kelly and her husband and their two kids surprised my mom and dad and kristy. They wanted to come see them so they showed up around 9:00pm. We sat around and talked and then went to bed

Saturday morning we layed around and then packed up to go home!

Update on our little girl : Since blogging last I have had two doctors appointments. Our little girl is doing great, and growing! I can't believe that she is already 24 weeks, and in no time she will be joining our family. She is very active, and loves to move around!

Yes, It is true Alan and I are expecting! We are very excited to announce that it is a GIRL!! She is due to come to our family in March.

For our Fleming family Halloween party we came up with costumes that would announce this exciting news. Alan was the Bun Maker and I was the Bun in the Oven.

Labor Day Weekend 2010

I know I am a little behind, but here is our fun labor day weekend. We were able to go to my parents house in Monticello, and go camping for the weekend. We arrived late on thursday night and stayed at my parents house. In the morning we helped around the house, and then went and set up our camp on my parents land. It is about 20 mins. from their house. When we arrived at the land we began to set up our trailor and the campsite. This should have only taken us an hour maybe, but with a few difficulties it took us a few hours. Alan truck got stuck in the sand, we finally got out, and then we were able to set up. My brother finally arrived, and set up his tent, and brought his horses. Then my sister arrived with her family and we were all ready to camp. The next morning my sister and her family showed up and set up their camp. Then we all went and cut down trees for my parents and grandparents for the winter. We cut down five trees, and split 3 of them. It was a lot of work! Then when we got back to camp we played around on the horses and the quads. The next morning was sunday and my parents went to church and my brother and his wife went to church and the rest of us kinda just sat around and talked. It was nice to relax on sunday! On monday morning we woke up and began to take down our stuff, when all of a sudden we notice my brother and my brother-in-law rushing to get a towel. We all gathered around because we didn't know what was happening. Well turns our my brother in law smashed his finger pretty bad and it was just hanging there by a little bit of skin. My sister rushed him to the emergency room. The rest of us continued to clean up and waited for them to get back. When they got back, he had stitches and they were able to save the tip of his finger. That was an exciting morning.

There were many more things that happened! It seemed as though almost everyone got hurt in some way or another :) And my brother was always there when they got hurt....interesting!

Laughlin Fun!

This past week we spent in Laughlin. We left on Monday morning and got home on friday mid-evening. It was alot of fun. On monday when we got there we checked in and then ate dinner, and then went to Walmart to shop for food for tuesday. On tuesday morning we woke up and spent the entire day at the lake. Alan's uncle rick brought a boat, 3 sit down jet skis, and 2 stand up jet skis. He also brought a blow up slide, and a paddle boat for the kids.

Then we stopped playing for awhile to celebrate Billy's birthday! We had some cupcakes, and watched Billy open his presents.

After a fun day at the lake we packed up our stuff and went back to the hotel. When we got back we ate dinner and then sat around and talked for a while, and then played around for a while. Then to bed. The next morning wednesday, we were able to sleep in because we didn't really have much planned. We woke up and ate breakfast, then went over to the mall. They have an outlet mall that was just across the street so we went over there and did some shopping. After the mall we went to the Riverside Hotel, and went to watchmans to look at all the watches. We walked around the Riverside for a while, and then we went back went swimming. We finally got out and got ready for dinner.

Thursday Morning we were back at the lake :)

Backyard!!!

When we moved into our house (3 1/2 years ago) our backyard was a mess. It had a tree that was 1/2 dead, and it had weeds everywhere. We would cleaned it up to where it was just dirt and then weeds would grow back and then we would clean it up again. I finally decided I wanted my backyard to look nice! I called a friend of mine to help us lay sod. We ordered the sod and had our friend come and clean the backyard and remove the tree. He also fixed up our sprinkler system! There are just a few yellow spots, but now that we added two more sprinklers everything is getting watered. I love my green grass/Backyard!

In march we also got to go to Knott's Berry Farm. We really had a blast. We were able to ride some rides, have my nephews birthday party with Snoopy, and hang out with the family!

One night we went to the Medieval Times Tournament and dinner. We really enjoyed watched the Knights Fight each other. We were the red team and Our Team Won!

Other than those fun activities in March we haven't really done much. Right now I am on summer vacation. Work ended in May so I have summer Off. However, I am not taking a break, I have been in school for the last 3 weeks! I am taking my last class and then I will be able to submitt all my stuff for nursing school. Once I pass Chemistry then I will be able to do that. I only have 2 more weeks and I will be done with the class. I really enjoy taking Accelerated courses because they are fast, but more difficult, but you get done with them fast. As for Alan he is still working hard!

Wedding and Birthday.....

On march 4th we flew to Utah for my brother Thomas' wedding. He married Mandy, a girl from Blanding in the Logan temple. I had never been in the Logan temple so that was fun to be able to go inside, and see what it looked like. On saturday, March 6th we woke up and my dad made us breakfast and then we got ready for the wedding. My mom and two sisters and my niece all dressed alike. The sealing was really good, and it brought me memories of my own. I love to attending sealings just for that reason. We are so happy for Thomas, and wish him the best of luck!

After the wedding we took pictures, and then went out to a mexican food place. We ate enchiladas, tacos and burritos, and of course chips and salsa.

Then today I celebrated my 23rd birthday! Alan made reservations at the Melting pot for us to be able to go to and enjoy dinner together. It was a lot of fun. When we first got there and sat down at the table there were flowers there, I didnt know what they were there for until Alan told me those were for me! This was the first time we had been to the melting pot for dinner, so we were new at the whole thing. We got the 4 course meal and began diggin' in. First we got a cheese dip, which you dip chips, bread, apples, and veggies into. It was really good. After the cheese dip then we had a salad. After the salad was the entree which consisted of meats and veggies. It was fun to be able to put meat into the pot and let it cook, and then eat it. After our entree was time for dessert. Before dessert they brought me out a card that wished me happy birthday! Then we got out dessert which was white chocolate and apple spices and apple dices in the white chocolate and we dipped marshmellows, rice crispys, brownies, strawberries and bananns into. It was soooo delicious!! I love the Melting pot!

For my birthday Alan got me a sewing machine! I want to starting making stuff so he got me one... I am so excited!!

Snowboarding

Last Saturday, Feb. 20th I was able to go up to Snow Bowl with my brother Thomas. It was a lot of fun! We woke up early on saturday morning, thomas made us breakfast and then we headed up north. When we got to Flagstaff we had to get a beanie for Thomas because all he had was a hat. We found him one and then we went the rest of the way to snow bowl. We went one time down the little hill, and then Thomas told me we had to get lift tickets. We bought lift tickets and went to the top of the bunny hill. We didn't do too bad, so then we went higher up the mountain. I thought it was so much more fun taking the lift the hiking back up the little bunny hill. The entire time we were there it sprinkled snow on us. We were done snowboarding around 2ish and started to head home. Thomas saw my tire was a little flat so we tired airing it up and it was leaking. We went to the closest Discount tire and they were able to fix my tire. The plug was leaking so they repaired it. While they were repairing it, we headed over to taco bell, it was just across the street. We finally got home around 5:30 and then we went out to Outback. It was a fun weekend to spend with Thomas and my Mom. Thomas is getting married this coming Saturday! I am so excited for him! It was the last time I got to hang out with him before he gets all hitched up :)

Valentine's Day and President's Day

Wow.... This weekend has been very eventful! On friday Alan was able to go with the Young Men on their campout. When I got home from work on friday Alan was all packed and ready to go camping. I walked inside and to my surprise.....there were roses sitting on the counter! Alan had gotten me flowers on friday for Valentine's Day since he wouldn't be home until saturday late afternoon... I thought that was very sweet! When he got home on saturday I surprised him with 6 car washes and 1 detail for his truck that he can go and get done anytime he wants.

Then on saturday when Alan got home we got ready for our family valentine's party. Jaci and Ronnelle were in charge of the night and it turned out really good. They had a friend make us dinner and then we had fondue for dessert! We also had lots of dancing and games.

On sunday we enjoyed our time at church (Alan got a new calling, 2nd councilor in the YM)and relaxing around the house and enjoying valentine's day together.

On monday morning we woke up early and went shooting. Alan is going ot be going Javalina hunting so he wanted to go shooting before he goes on his trip. We went with Alan's dad, brother in law, and cousin.

Then on monday night we celebrated Jaci's birthday by going on playing Lazer Tag at Wazees World. It was a really fun place. While the adults were playing lazer tag the kids were playing in bouncer and aracde games. We played two games of lazer tag and ate pizza and cake! It is a very low key place and good for children!

Snowboarding

This last weekend Alan and I were able to go up to Flagstaff and go Snowboarding with my friend Jessica and her husband Mitchel. We headed up there on friday night and then we went snowboarding at snowbowl for about 5 hours or so on saturday. We really had a fun time. Alan and I had never tried it before so this was our first time! It was hard to get up at first but then it was easier as the day went on. It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be, but it was pretty hard. As soon as we got the hang of it we were able to make it down the bunny hill :) Enjoy the pictures!

A New Year 2010

Wow.... Last year went by so fast and so many things happened. Alan is doing great! He is getting more involved with church activities now that he is one of the 12 year old scout leaders. So he was able to go on a few camp outs and muturals last year. He is still continuing to work hard and support us. As for myself I was able to finish up the rest of my school classes and recieved my associates degree...I also took the net test (Nursing exam test) and passed. Now I have to submitt an application to get into a nursing school. It could take a while, but it's ok I will just work until it happens. However, we are very excited for me to get in and get my RN. I too am still work at the K-8 school. We were able to take many trips and did many fun things together last year like camping, shooting, cabin, utah, attend baby blessings, laughlin, disneyland, cardinals game, suns game, harlem globe trotters, NBA jam, diamondbacks game, high school musical on ice, keith urban concert, and best of all Cancun!!

On New Years day we went shooting. We went with Alan's brother and his son, Alan's uncle and aunt and cousins. We really had fun.... The only bad part is we got a flat tire. Alan and his brother changed it and then everything else was fun.

White Christmas

This year we were able to have a wonderful white Christmas. We left on wednesday night and drove to Flagstaff, and then woke up early on thursday and drove to Monticello. It is only a 6 hr drive, but we didn't know what Flagstaff would be like so we just decided to take it slow and make sure we got there safe. We arrived in Monticello on thursday around 11am. We surprised my family because they didn't think we were coming until Friday. Kelly and her family and Lindsey weren't able to make it to christmas, but hopefully they will be able to come to Thanksgiving next year. As you can see behind my parents house is the Monticello temple. All you can see of the temple is the Angel Moroni.

We really enjoyed being able to spend time with my familly, even though it was cold ( highs in the 20's and lows less then 10 degrees). We stayed inside most of the time.

Friday morning we were able to wake up and have a nice breakfast and then got to open presents.

Alan did very well this year picking out gifts for me. He got me Diamond Earings, Ipod touch, and some clothes and shoes.

As for Alan he made out pretty good too... He got a flying Helicopter and some hunting gear.

My sister and her husband were able to come down to for christmas and they gave us matching sweaters of my brother in laws company. He and his brother own a car repair/lifting business.

We were just celebrating the 4th of July and now it's already Thanksgiving and Christmas... Where does the year go? We are really excited for thanksgiving this year, for no particular reason, but we are just happy to be off of work for a few days and be able to relax and shop. This year for thanksgiving we are staying here and going to Alan's dads house to have some Ham, turkey, mash potatoes, corn, salad, and some yams (that's our assignment- yams and pie!) It will be fun to celebrate Thanksgiving this year with Alan's side of the family... We love this time of year because we get to spend time with family.... We are very excited for Black Friday too...

Yesterday we started to set up our christmas tree and tonight we finished.... We decided to do a white tree this year with blue and silver. It really looks pretty, but looks even better at night with the lights on!

Halloween

Every year for Halloween we have a Fleming Family Party, and this year Alan's dad was in charge of it and he assigned Alan and his brother to put it together. So were able to make it pretty successful. This year we had it on friday, Oct. 30. It was at Alan's brother's house and we had food, games, face painting, and a pinata. Everyone usually dresses up and we have contest as to who has the best costume, most original, cutest and scariest. Overall, we had a really fun time! For our costume we were the rubix cube. Alan's brother teases me about doing the rubix cube so we made costumes for fun. I took a box and painted Alan's to be the one that was all jumbled up and mine was the finished product. It was pretty funny!

Then on Halloween Alan and I went with my father and mother in law and Alan's brother and wife and their son to Cheesecake Factory and then back to my in laws house for some trick or treating. My niece and nephews were able to go to some house to get candy. It was fun to see them enjoy walking to houses and get candy!

Disneyland

First we had breakfast with Chip N' Dale

Then we went to Disneyland....

When we first got into disneyland we saw Pinocchio so we had to get a picture with him. We were told after we took a picture with him that it was really rare to see him out taking pictures, and signing autographs with people. So that was pretty cool to see.

After taking a picture with Pinocchio we went and rode some rides. The first ride we went on was Dumbo.My niece and I rode together on the dumbo ride, and she really seemed to enjoye the ride..

After Dumbo we went on Mr. Toad's ride, and my ALL time favorite ride Peter Pan! After Those two rides we went over and rode the New Finiding Nemo ride. It was really cool. You went down into a submarine and saw and heard a little bit of the nemo movie. The ride was a little to long, but it was cute.

After the "Finding Nemo" ride then a few of us went and rode the go-cart ride. The kids really enjoyed that ride beacuse they give them fake Drivers licences.

Then after riding the go-carts we thought it would be fun to take the kids over to watch the 3-d movie "Honey I shrunk the Audience." The kids got scared but the adults loved it! :)

After watching the movie we headed over to Mickey's house to say "hello!"

By this time we were all getting tired and wanted to say our energy for the next day so we went on the tea cups and then headed to the Hotel.

When we got to the hotel we took a nap, and then Berne and Cindy offered to take the kids so we could go ride the adult rides and have some fun on our own. We rode space mountain (my 2nd favorite ride at disneyland), star tours, and Indiana Jones. We waited for space mountain for 90 mins!! I had never been on Star tours before it was actually a cool ride. Then we when we got back to the hotel we went to bed!!

The next morning we woke up and went back to disneyland

The first thing we did was head over to where you meet the princesses. The princesses are very kind to the little kids and actually spent time talking to them. My niece brought Cinderella back her wond because she left it at her house when she came to her birthday party :) It was really cute!

Then we saw more Characters......

That night was a parade and fireworks so between the parade and fireworks we rode the buzz light year ride.

The next morning, Alan and I woke up early to go the Disneyland before it even opened. We were able to enter the park 1 hour before everyone else. We were able to ride space mountain, the manahorn, snow white, and Pinocchio, and the manahorn again because the park even opened.

Then when the park opened we wrote Pirates of the Carribean! Then we went over to california adventures and rode screaming, and soaring over California. OH my goodness if you get the chance to do Screamin' oh man .... do it! It was sooo scary but an amazing roller coaster.

Then we were done for the day. I was done being at disneyland, and so we went back to the hotel room took naps, and then went out to eat and then went to bed for the night :)

The next morning we woke up and had breakfast and headed home. We really had a fun time. I thought with there being 17 of us and Yes, we did stay together most of the time we did do a lot and saw a lot.

Whirlybird Wednesday

Fox 10 news was able to come to my school where I work. They flew in the helicopter, and brought Cory with them. It was a fun way to have the students show their pride for their school... Its called Whirlybird Wednesday!

This last weekend we were able to go to laughlin and get away for a little bit. We just decieded randomly one night that we would go. My sister in law told us that she had a thing that allowed her to get two free rooms and my brother in law had one which allowed him to get two free rooms, so we would all get our rooms for free so we went! It was my husbands brother and his wife, and his two sister and their husbands and his uncle and aunt! There were ten of us that went so it was even funner because we were all together playing around!We stayed at the river palm! It was a really nice trip! We went shopping at the mall, got our toes done (thanks phil) and we walked around a little bit and played a few games and went to a comedy club, I would never go to the comedy club again...it was an old guy that kept saying the same jokes over and over again...never again! Happy Birthday Alan!!

This week we were able to celebrate Alan's birthday. On monday night we were able to go to my sisters and have dinner and birthday cake with my side of the family. My mom and dad were in town so they wanted to wish him a happy birthday before they left. Then on Thursday which was his actually birthday I got him a new pair of church/work shoes and we went out to dinner. Alan's dad treated us to Black Angus!! Yummy! Then tonight we are going to Peter Pipper Pizza to celebrate his and his brother in laws birthday. I guess in this family we celebrate birthdays all week long :)

Alan loves to play basketball. Any chance he gets to play he is there! He played since he was a little boy. He started out playing for the YMCA and then played through high school.

Alan served his mission in the New England States ( Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Mass.)

Just a few days after Alan got home from his mission we started dating... ever since we have been together. We dated from November got engaged in March and married in June.

Alan has always wanted to put granite countertops in our kitchen so we finally did it, only because we found someone that gave us a very good deal. So this saturdy we got the granite countertops put into our house. It makes our kitchen look so much nicer and we made the island a little bigger.

On Thursday right after Alan got off of work we were able to leave for utah. My sister just had her baby and they were blessing her in church on sunday so we needed to be up there for her blessing. When we left on thursday it was Alan and I and my niece and nephew and my two sisters in the car. We drove up to my parents house who live 6 and 1/2 hours away and slept for the night and then in the morning Alan and I left early to go see his Aunt and Uncle who lived 41/2 hours away from my parents in the Provo area and then hang out with one of his mission buddies who lives by Brigham City area.

When we arrived at Alan's aunt and uncles house on Friday we went on a picnic. We went and got Alan's uncle from work and then headed to a park that was only a few minutes away. It was really nice to see Alan's aunt, uncle and his three cousins. The cousins are getting bigger and bigger every time we see them. We aren't able to see them very often so it was nice to have a picnic with them, and enjoy talking with them.

After we left the picnic we headed to my sisters house who lives near Ogden. We stopped at her house to see the new baby and to drop off our stuff. After we unloaded we headed to the brigham city area to see Alan's mission buddy. We went out to a little mexican food place and went back to their house and hung out for a while and then went to his parents house for a little game of volleyball. We really had a fun time hanging out with him and his wife.

On saturday morning we woke up and went shooting. My brother in law and his brother have a few guns, and my dad and brother and some too so we all went out shooting. It was really fun! It had been a while since I had been out shooting. We shot a .22, .17, 45m and a 357. My brother, dad, brother in law, and Alan's mission buddy enjoyed shooting clay pigeons with their shot guns while the rest of us shot the other guns. We also drove my brother in laws quad around. The best part about shooting guns is that my brother kept shooting dragon flies as they would pass by the fields. It was really funny!

Saturday night we went out to dinner with my sisters husband's family. We went to some mexican food place and it wasn't too bad. Then when we got home we had a little birthday party for my nephew who just turned 1. It was really fun to see him eat his cake and open presents. Then we played some cards and went to bed.

Sunday morning we woke up and started getting stuff ready for luncheon that would happen after my niece's blessing. We went to church and my brother-in-law blessed Taylynn. Then after church we went back to my sister house and had a luncheon and then after the luncheon we drove back to my parents house who lived 5 hours toward our house and then monday morning we woke up bright and early and came back home!! "Escape Together World Tour"

On July 25th Alan and I were able to go to the Keith Urban concert with his sister and her husband. Keith Urban came to town so we bought tickets to go see him. He was suppose to come with Sugarland but the doctor put Jennifer Nettles on vocal rest so she was not able to perform at the concert. I was kinda mad because I really wanted to see Sugarland in concert but instead we got to see Sarah Buxton. That's what I thought at first too "Who is that?" The concert was really good. Keith Urban did an amazing job! He interacts with the audience and keeps you wanting to more. We really had a fun time at the concert!!

Fourth of July.... and Girl's Camp!!

For the fourth of July we have kinda made it a tradition to go camping. So this year we load up our trailers and headed up North for the weekend. This year we didn't go fishing very much but instead we kinda just sat around and played games and talked and had fires. My nieces and nephews love to go camping and are always wanting to go. They don't mind missing fireworks to go camping... They had a fun time playing in the dirt and swinging in the hammock, and catching frogs.

We got home from camping on the 5th of July and the next day I left for girls camp. We went to camp Lo Mia Main Camp. I had 5 girls the first two days and then 2 more girls that were on the 4th year hike joined us for the last day and 1/2. So I had a total of 7 girls and another leader. This year my girls were really great! They went to their classes without being told 500 times. Even though my girls loved staying up late they were always where they were suppose to be. I had no fights, arguments, NOTHING! However, I did have one girl get sick with a fever, but she was fine a few hours later. Girls camp was Awesome! I was thinking about it at girls camp and that was my 9th year going to camp Lo Mia either as a girl or a leader.

This last weekend I helped with a bridal shower for my friends Jessica. She is getting married on July 2, 2009. We have been friends since we were 5 years old and went to elementary schoool, junior high, high school, and a year of college together. We really had some fun times together. Maybe we will have some children together, or close in age!

I made this for Jessica so she could put it in her house.. I thought it turned out really cute.... :)

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY

Happy Anniversary.... 3 Years Today :)

Alan returned home from his mission in November of 2005 and shortly after we began dating. It was a little difficult because I was 3 hours away at college but we made it work. I would come home almost every weekend or Alan would come visit me. From the time Alan got home from his mission to the time that we were married I knew that I would spend the rest of my life with him, I just didn’t think it would happen as fast as it did. My twin brother was leaving on his mission and I told Alan that he had to marry me before Thomas left or he would have to wait until he came home because I wasn’t going to get married while he was gone. As the months past my family kept asking us when we were going to get engaged. My mom has always enjoyed Alan being part of our family and wanted to make it permanent. Therefore, in March Alan and I went with my Aunt and her family to Salt Lake City for general conference. On March 31, 2006 Alan and I were engaged! We were in the Joseph Smith building on the 10 floor looking out at the temple when Alan said “I do not think this dating thing is working!” I said “Huh” and he got on one knee and asked me to marry him. I said “YES!” After that day we began working hard on wedding invitations and getting everything ready for our special day. We set the date for June 17, 2006 which is 3 years today in the Arizona temple.

Our wedding day was perfect. That morning Alan came and picked up me and my mom from my parents house to drive to the temple. When wer got to the temple we entered the room where all of our friends and family were waiting and we got married for time and all eternity. It is the best thing that has happened to us.

After we went to have lunch, after lunch Alan and I checked into our hotel room and then went to the church building where we would have our reception. Our reception was beautiful! We had a really fun time at our reception, lots of food and dancing. Alan and I really wanted to make our reception a celebration where everyone could eat and have fun. My dad was able to make all of the food before and then we had friends put it out on the serving table for us. Everyone really enjoyed the food, and the reception!
After our reception we were able to leave and go on a cruise. We left from L.A California and we went to San Diego, Catalina, Ensenda and then back to L.A. it was a 4 day 3 night cruise. After the cruise we went straight to Alan's family reunion which was in Globe. After the family reunion we went and stayed with Alan's brother for a few days until we would get in our condo. We lived in our condo from July until November. We bought a house and are now currently living in it.

I am really grateful to be married to Alan. He works really hard to be able to provide for our family. Even though we do not have kids right now every day Alan is preparing our future for them.

This week has been a very enjoyable week for us because we spent the entire week in Cancun. We left on Sunday morning and got home on Friday night. On Sunday we left at 9:00 am and got to Cancun around 1pm but it was really 3 pm Cancun time. When we arrived in Cancun we got on a shuttle which took us to our hotel. We stayed at the Beach Palace, which is 1 of 3 palaces in Cancun. When you stay at a palace you are able to use the facilities at the other palaces. When we arrived at the hotel we went up to our room and it was AWESOME! We had a Jacuzzi right next to our bed, and a balcony that over looked the laguna and part of the ocean.

After we checked out our room we went down to eat dinner. We ate at a very nice Italian restaurant. After we ate we went and checked out the pool, the ocean, and the sky lounge. Then we headed to the room for the night.

On Monday morning we went to Chichen Itza which is an old Mayan ruin. It was interesting to learn about it, and to look at the old ruins. This was an all day tour. We left on a tour bus at 7:30 pm arrived at a shopping center at 8:45am and then arrived at Chichen Itza at 10:30 am and walked around and listened to our tour guide until 3pm. It was really hot and humid there. Alan and I were sweating so bad….We tired to stay in the shade as much as we could, but it didn’t help. We finally got on the bus at 3pm and headed to a restaurant to eat a later lunch. We arrived there around 4pm and ate and headed back to the hotel. It was so nice when we finally got home because we were able to rest. However, Alan got a migraine from the heat and I ordered room service for dinner. I ordered fruit, spaghetti, and a chocolate cake. The food actually wasn’t to bad!

On Tuesday morning we were able to go to Playa Maroma to go on a speed boat and on an ATV. We got to sleep in a little bit because we didn’t leave until 9am. When we got to Playa Maroma they took us out to the speed boats and Alan and I shared a speed boat. We were out on the ocean for 45 minutes with 4 other boats and a tour guide. After we finished the speed boats we went over to the ATV’s and road those for 45 minutes. Alan was able to drive it and I rode on the back. We went through a jungle on a dusty road. When we were done our faces were covered in dirt, but it was really a lot of fun. After the ATV’s we had a little lunch which consisted of beans, salsa and chips. The salsa was a guacamole salsa that was delicious. The tour bus came and picked us up at 1pm and we headed back to the hotel and we took a little nap and then headed to the shopping malls. We walked down to a mall and it is quite funny because everyone wants you to come in their shops and make a deal with them on something to buy. Its really hard to just walk out but you have to. We also went to a market place and those people are even worse they almost drag you into their store! Haha.. But you just have to keep walking. We finally got back to the hotel and had dinner, and then watched what they called it a “Mexican Show.” Women were dancing in dresses, and men were playing instruments and singing.

On Wednesday we were able to go on a tour that took us to Isla Mujeres. This is an island that is about 40 minuets off of Cancun. There we were able to go snorkeling. This was the second time I had gone snorkeling (the first time was in Catalina Island) and this was the first time Alan snorkeled. It was really a lot of fun. They took us out to a reef where there were gray and yellow stripped fish, and blue fish. It was neat to be able to get so close to the fish. The tour guide threw food out to the fish and they would come right up to you and touch you to find their food. After snorkeling we went and had a nice lunch and then lay out on the beach until it was time to go back to the boat. When we got on the boat we headed toward another part of the island which was where the shopping was located. When we got off they told us the best places to go shopping. We found a nice jewelry place which had real silver stuff. My mom gave us money to get her something so we found a really nice jewelry set for really cheap, so we got it for her. After shopping we got back on the boat to head toward Cancun. The tour guides on the boat said “This is a party boat; no one leaves without drinking Tequila.” I was thinking, “Yes, I will!” As they came by with the drinks you just said “no” and they just passed you by and went to the next person. When we returned back to Cancun we went and ate at the barbeque patio. Again the food was very good. That night the show was “the perfect couple.” I did not want to get picked to be on the show, thankfully, we didn’t get picked.

Thursday Morning we went to a place and was about to go on a zip line. I had never done it before, and I am scared of heights but it was actually very fun! We went from tower to tower zip lining. We were able to go to 12 towers and the zip line went over swamps and forest. After that we went and had lunch, and got to lay out at the pool. We only swam a few times while we were in Cancun. After we went swimming we went shopping and then to a night show, which was a fire show.

Friday morning we woke up and went and had breakfast at the Cancun Palace and took pictures out on the beach. Then we headed back to our hotel and packed up our things and headed back to the airport to come home.We really had a nice time in Cancun. You may hear that it isn’t a nice place for vacation, but it really is. The people there serve you like a princess or prince and do everything for you. Anytime you needed help or assistance they were there to help you. From June to first part in August is the hottest time to go so done go during those months. We didn’t know it would be as hot as it was. The hot didn’t bother us as much it was the humidity that really killed us. It was just to much. However, we really enjoyed being there and would go again if we got the chance to go again.

Memorial Weekend

This year for Memorial Weekend Alan's dad rented a cabin and we all went up there from Thursday night til Monday morning. Yes all 12 adults and 7 kids! We really had a fun time, even thought it rained for the majority of the time. We were able to play some games, go fishing, play some basketball, and even relax. The cabin was big enough for each of the families to get their own room. Alan and I got the closet as our room :) Not really but the room was small enough to be a closet! ha.

This is the outside of the cabin. It was a pretty nice size cabin. It had 6 bedrooms, and 3 1/2 bath.

Inside of the cabin it had a nice little family room that had a flat screen t.v. The guys were able to watch the NBA basketball games, and the kids were able to play the WII.

The kitchen was very beautiful. It was almost as if there were two kitchens because it was split into two areas. One had the sink and stove. The other had the refridgerator and a sink

Next to the kitchen was a nice table where we were able to eat and play games.

Then when you went up stairs they had a nice size loft that had a foosball table and a pool table. The kids really enjoyed the pool table! Upstairs was where 5 of the bedrooms were located and 2 bathrooms.

And this is where we slept! It was very small but perfect for us.

We drove from the cabin to Blue Ridge Resovior where we were able to fish. Alan was the first person to catch a fish. It was a nice size rainbow trout!

After Alan caught a fish, then I caught a fish! My niece and I actually caught it together, our lines got tangled together and we both brought the fish in. We did catch the biggest fish!

It was very beautiful!

We really had a fun time! SInce we've been married we have been able to do a lot of camping and fishing together. This is something that we love to do with each other. Thanks to Alan's dad for taking us to a cabin, and letting us relax.

NYS Basketball and The DBACKs Game

These last few weeks Alan has been able to help his brother Phil with a little basketball team through NYS. My nephews Brayden and Eli are on the team. They are really cute when they play! Its hard to teach a bunch of 4, 5 and 6 year olds how to play defense, offense, rebound, dribble and shoot. However, the team really did a great job this year. There are 5 kids on the team, 4 boys and 1 girl. Alan has really enjoyed working with his brother and the little kids.

The National Youth Sports (NYS) had a thing at the DBACKS game last night and the players and the coaches were able to walk on the field. There were so many people walking the field! People walked for about 25 minuets. It was fun to go to the game and be able to relax and watch a baseball game.

This year for mother's day Alan and I were going to send my mom flowers, but I thought she needed something better. So I talked to my sisters Kristy and Kelly to see what they were thinking about doing. I got on the computer and started searching for mother's day gift ideas. While I was looking I found a website "Hersheygifts.com" so i begin looking at stuff. I ran across a HUGE 2lb chocolate Hershey Bar. This was like no other Hershey bar it was 2lbs, and the coolest thing about it is that you could personalize the hershey bar. On the hershey bar with yellow writing we wrote "All the we are we owe to you, Our Mother!" Awww... it was so cute! She was really happy when she called me to tell me she got it, and it was from all of her children so it made it even more special. I bet she thinks she has some crazy kids :)

For my birthday this year we had a party at Alan’s Dads house. We had it on Sunday, Mach 8…We had dinner and strawberry shortcake. For dinner we had sandwiches, chips, and drinks. I didn’t really want a cake so I decided to make strawberry shortcake. I cut up the angle food cake into little square and put them in a truffle bowl, and then put strawberries in the middle with cool whip! It was so YUMMY!!! Then after we ate we let the little nieces and nephews play while we sat around and talked. Then I opened presents…. I got a cricut from Alan and his family! I was so excited, and still am! And I got a scentsy plug-in and a maple walnut scent. I love Scentsy :) THANKS!!!

Then this last weekend I took Friday off to go to Laughlin!! We left on Friday March 13th and came home on Sunday March15th. It was a lot of fun! Alan and Me and my mom and dad and brother and my sister in law and her husband and their kids, and my brother in law and his wife and their son all went! We stayed at the Royal Palms Hotel. My mom went so at night she could watch the kids! On friday we got there and just kinda hung out and walked around. On saturday we took the kids bowling, and walked around ate went to the mall..Played a little blackjack :).. It was a nice vacation!

Then on March 16th we celebrated it again but this time with my family. My mom and dad were down here and so we had a party for me and Thomas.. My mom got me bedding for my bed! YEAH!! We had hamburgers and hotdogs, chicken, shrimp, potato salad, and again Strawberry shortcake, but this time dad made it! We had a really good birthday! Thanks everyone for my presents!! (Thanks Kristy for the scrapbooking stuff you gave me when we were at mom’s house a few weeks ago) Its nice having Thomas back to share a party with, I sure missed him when he was on his mission, but now he is Back!!

Here we come Monticello

A few weekends ago we decided we would go see my mom and dad and brother up in Monticello. My sister and her husband were coming down from their house and so we decided that we would go there so we could see them. Alan and I and my sister and her husband and their two kids packed up our bags and headed to my parents house. We drove 6 hours to get there!! And my sister and her husband meet up with us at my parents. All of us were there except my little sister. It was a short trip but we had a lot of fun. We helped my parents with their house that they are building and then we went four wheeling. My brother-in-law brought his quad so we played around for a while.

Thomas thought it would be funny to go through the mud, and we got me all MUDDY :)

My nephew and niece just watched us, pretty soon they will be big enough to join in on the fun :)

Valentine's Day

This year for Valentine's day we celebrated it one day earlier because we knew we would be busy on saturday. On friday morning I went to work and was working with a student and it was time to leave that student and go to the next one, so I was walking to go to my next student when our Nurse yelled my name. I looked over at her and she was carrying a box and she said it was for me. I was like "what, I never get anything at work!" So I went to my room and opened the box and it was flowers from Alan :) I could not believe that he had flowers sent to my work. He has never done that before and now he has... I had been teasing him about getting me flowers and he always tells me that I don't like flowers because I really don't because they are expensive and they die and I do not like that, but its always nice to get them :) haha... So that was my surprise from Alan.. So after work I went and got him his present. I got home and there was a note on the counter for me. I put down his present and looked at the note and it was a gift card to go get my toes done! I was totally excited. I gave him his gift (the movie fireproof) and then we left for dinner. We went out to Oliver Garden! YUMMY!!! After dinner we went to Walmart, then we got home and watched the Movie Fireproof. It was sooo good! It sure is a tear dropper movie... I would suggest everyone to watch it.

NBA Jam

On Wednesday Night Alan and I were able to go to the NBA Jam. His dad got tickets to go that night and wasn't able to go so we went :) It was actually really cool, but the lines were forever long to do anything. They had different stations where you were able to do basketball stuff like dunking, three pointers, around the world, trampolines, 3 on 3. It was fun to be there and able to play a few games. We saw one person who played in the NBA and that's all...

Then on Saturday Alan went again with his brother, brother in laws, nephews, uncles and cousins. They too said that there were a lot of people there and lines were long. Also they saw a few people who play in the NBA. It was fun for them to be able to go and have a little fun together.

Well.... The Cardinals had a great season and it was exciting to see them get as far as they did. For the Super Bowl we went over to Alan's brothers house and had Ribs! It was a lot of fun! While the adults watched the game the kids played and had a good old time. I never thought in my life time that the Cardinals would get to the super bowl! I am glad that they even got that far and even though they didn't win they still did an awesome job. They didn't look so good in the beginning but then they really picked it up. The Steelers are DIRTY players thats all I can say. I never thought they were dirty but tonight they really showed that they weren't the better team, lots of cheap shots! In all the Cardinals were penalized with 96 yards and the Steelers only had around 30 yards of penalies. I think next year there needs to be different officals thats for sure :)
In all the Cardinals did a great job, and we look forward to watching them again next year!!!

High School Musical On Ice

Yesterday we got to go to High School Musical on Ice. We went with Alan's family! The little kids love the movie so we thought it would be fun to go to it on ice. It was really cute and all the kids were singing and dancing. Some of the actors looked really close to the real people. It was a cute show :)

Alan and I were able to go with Alan's brother and his wife and their son (THANK YOU) to the Harlem Globe Trotters today. It was amazing we had Floor seats! I had seen them before on T.V. but had never seen them in person. Let me tell you it was so much fun! They mostly play around but they drunk, jump over eachother, and pull pranks on the audience. It's like you are watching a real basketball game but in a comedy way :)

Cardinals Playoffs

Alan and I were able to go to the Cardinals Playoff game tonight (Jan. 3,2009). We went with his sister Jaci and her husband Brian. We sat in section 133 row 13 and let me tell you they were AMAZING seats. I have never sat soo close in my life :) The game started at 2:30 so we left our house around 1 and went and ate lunch and then headed to the game. We really had a fun time! There are some crazy, funny, and wild people that go to the games and we really had a kick out of those people, but the game was AMAZING! THE CARDINALS WON!!

WOW... I can't believe it is already 2009. Where does time go? I hope that everyone had a good new years eve and day. For New Years eve we went out to dinner with Alans family and my mom. We went to Dillions! Then after eating we headed over to Berne's house to play games! Hope everyone is ready for the new year!

What a wonderful christmas time! On christmas eve we always go to Alans Grandmas' house for a little program. It was very nice to be there with the entire family. We had dinner a family movie, and then a little program with songs and talks, it was very nice. Then Alan and I went back to 0ur house and spent some time with my mom and dad and brother and sister. In the morning Alan and I left to go to his dad's house to open presents and have breakfast. Alan had Ronnelle's name this year for our family gift exchange. Alan got her the Keith Urban CD and Hair rollers. And I had Jessica...... I got her a Horse game and a exercise stepper.Then Ronnelle had me and got me some lotions and pj s and a ZEBRA hair dryer!!

Jaci had Alan and got him a money sorter. Everytime we go to Khols he see it and says he wants it so she got it for him :)
Alan's Dad and Cindy got each of us a WII for christmas with a WII fit! The little grandkids had a gift exchange between them... I love watching kids open presents... They are so excited about everything :)

After we were done opening presents with Alan's family we went back to our house to open presents with my family. My mom and dad and brother and sister and my sister and her husband and their two kids. We had such a fun time opening presents. Alan got me a nice digital camera that zooms in 12X and I got him a GPS system.

In all, Christmas time is a wonderful time that we are able to spend with our families. It's a great time to also celebrate the Birth of our Savior. We were able to re-inact the nativity scene many times this year which is a great reminder of our Savior.

ALL ABOARD the POLAR EXPRESS!!

We went on the Polar Express to the North Pole. It was a nice vacation to get away and have nice weather. It was cold enought to wear a jacket, but it wasn't too cold. We went with Alan's family, there were 21 of us :)

When the train arrived we all aboarded it, and headed toward the north pole. As soon as you get on you get a chocolate chip cookie, then you get hot chocolate. Then they begin to read the book, and you sit and listen and one of Santa's elfs shows you the pictures. Then you look at lights outside and then you finally reach the north pole and Santa is there! He gets on the train and hands all the little ones a bell. As you return you sing songs. What was really cool is its really relaxing and you can move around the train, you don't have to just sit in your seats the entire time. It was a fun trip!!

The next morning we woke up and went to a Deer Farm. We were able to feed and pet deer. It was really cool, I had never been so close to a deer. This was a tractor that was infront of the deer farm, I had to get a picture with Alan on it. He is sooo cute :)

Thanksgiving

WOW.... I can't believe that Thanksgiving has come and gone and now we are getting ready for Christmas. This year for Thanksgiving we went to my parents house in Monticello, Utah. My parents are in the process of moving there and wanted us to come there for thanksgiving and help with the house and to have thanksgiving together. So Alan and I decided we would go there this year. We left on wednesday after work and it takes 6 hours to get there. We got to my parents about 11 o'clock pm just in time to go to bed :) We woke up in the morning and went to my parents house they are building and work on it until it was time to get ready to eat thanksgiving. It was sooo cold! The wind was blowing and it actually snowed on us. On thanksgiving night we went to my parents friend's restaurant for thanksgiving. Their friend cooked all the food and we showed up to eat it! I have never had a thanksgiving in a restaurant but it was pretty fun and you didn't have to clean up afterward. We had a really fun time being with my family. I only had one sister and her husband and their two kids not be able to come, but other than that we were all there :)

We fianlly got a chance to get our family pictures taken. It has been about 5 years since we have all been together to get our pictures taken. The last time we had a picture taken there was only 7 of us and now there are 12 of us. Since our last picture Kristy has gone on a mission and got married. Kelly also has gotten married and has had 2 kids. Thomas has served a mission, and I have gotten married. Lindsey has graduated from high school and moved out and now moving to Utah. My parents have become grandparents and are moving to Utah.

Cardinals Game

Before Thomas came home from his mission he sent me and email that said he wanted to go to the Cardinals game that was on Monday November 10th. So Alan decided he would get tickets for the boys to go to the game. Alan, Thomas, Dad, Clint and Nick all went. The Cardinals played the 49ers and luckily the Cardinals came out with a VICTORY!! The boys really had a fun time!!

My "Twin" Brother is HOME!!

My twin brother is Finally HOME!! He has been in south Africa for 2 years and now he is home. It has been a long weekend... having him come home and family around, but it has been fun! He flew from South Africa to London then to Phoenix. His flight was suppose to get in at 6:25 but we stood there waiting and waiting. Then finally, at 7:10 he finally walked down the hall and we saw him, we were sooo excited! He is fun to have him back!!

Green GRASS!!!

Finally, My front yard is looking great! For two years we have lived in the same house and we've never really tired to get our front yard to look nice. We've always wanted to but never had the time to do it. So finally I decided I was going to get the grass green, and make it look nice. I went to home depot and asked them what I need to do to get my grass to turn green. I finally 4 weeks ago planted grass and watered it three times a day! The worst part is we don't have sprinklers so I have been hand watering it. But let me tell you what it is nice and green and I am finally happy with my front yard. I still have some work to do with trimming bushes and maybe putting some solar lights up but it finally is looking pretty decent. :)

Arizona State Fair

On Saturday Night Alan, Me, Alan's brother and wife and their son all went to the state fair. We went around 5:30 PM and there wasn't really anyone there. When we got there we got something to eat, and then we walked around. It was fun to walk around and see what kind of games there were to play. Then we started to play games. Alan and his brother love to play the games, because they like to win! They played many games. Eli (my nephew) loves spiderman, we played a game to win him a spiderman, and he was really happy to get it. The things that my brother in law and husband won were two basketballs, a huge gecko, a workingout ball that was covered with a suns stuff, a spiderman, a gold fish, a little stuffed horse, and a stuffed tiger. We also went on a ride that was a haunted house, and it wasn't even scary! We also went into the petting zoo to see all the animals. They had pigs, goats, donkeys, chickens, a giraffe, and my favorite a ZEBRA!! Then we walked over to the exhibit where people sell stuff. One really cool thing that we saw was a car that you can drive on the wall... It has a vaccum type thing on it that keeps the car from falling off the wall. It was actually really cool! They also had a speaker transmitter thing that you put on your phone and then you turn the channel of you radio to a specific station and you can hear the person through your radio while talking to the person.. When we were getting ready to leave we saw this guy that had a monkey! The monkey was sooo cutE!! If you gave him a coin he would smell it then put it into a jar. Eli got to hold the monkey!! We really had a fun time, but something that you only do every 0nce in a while...

Ward Halloween Party

Last night we had our ward Halloween Party! It was really fun! Alan and I were in charge of making a punch, so we made homemade rootbeer..... It was sooo YUMMY!! Alan loves to make it so we make it any time that we can. Also since I am one of the leaders for activities day girls we had to help with a booth. We got put in charge of the fish pond. It was really fun, and my girls did a great job at helping out and working together. Alan and I also dressed up for the party! Alan was the suns gorilla and I was a suns fan! It was fun!
